What is Wet Cleaning?
Here at Amador and Casa de Cleaners, we use a special type of dry cleaning called Wet Cleaning.
Traditional dry cleaners utilize cleaning solvents such as Hydrocarbon and Perchloroethylene. While this method of cleaning is very good at carefully cleaning garments, they come with some downsides. Dry cleaning solvents can be harsh on some fabrics and will leave a chemical odor, especially if many garments in your closet were cleaned the same way. Solvents can also be harmful to the environment, the cleaner and the customer as well.
Thus, we chose to make an impact and offer a solution that solve these downsides. By using state-of-the-art WetCare machines by Miele, we are able to offer the same result as traditional solvent dry cleaning without the downsides. Our Eco-friendly method is able to preserve the fit, color and quality of the original garment whilst leaving a clean, chemical free and odorless garment in the final product.
Though wet cleaning requires extra care to meet the same quality of solvent dry cleaning, we believe that it is worth it. We pre-treat the clothes for extra stain removal and program the machines to meet the specification required by each garment. We will deliver the highest quality of garment that leave you satisfied and feeling fresh every time you put on your favorite clothes.
